Growing up in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, CA, Colin started playing in bands in his late teens. He played guitar and sang backup with This & That, a funk, alternative rock and ska 6-piece band that played all over the Sunset Strip and different venues throughout CA and NV. When This & That dissolved, the Alternative Rock Group, Darko, was formed with past members of This & That and Colin became the lead singer and primary songwriter. They continued to play in and around Hollywood, but eventually disbanded. After several years away from music, Colin formed the 3-piece cover band, Sidd Finch, and they began to perform at various venues around LA. Together with Jon Biggs, an incredible drummer, and Eric Pridham, a talented multi-instrumentalist, Sidd Finch played authentic covers of some of the best songs the way they would like to hear other musicians else play them. In 2015, Colin moved across the country to the suburbs of Boston, MA and Sidd Finch went on permanent hiatus. Eventually he met some other town musicians and started playing live again, sometimes with others, but mostly solo with just an acoustic guitar. Playing solo gives the challenge of creating a “band” with just a guitar and vocals and Colin has loved this challenge. He has developed a unique and ever growing list of over 300 well-known songs that span many genres and artists with most of the selections from the '70's, '80's, and '90's. The only criteria is that the songs are great and they connect with the audience.
